General Assembly of Members

EFFAS Benelux is a professional non-profit organization. We are the centre of expertise for the community of finance professionals in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. To reach our goals, we rely on our members who are one of the most important stakeholders of our association. They have a voice in the General Assembly of Members, which is organised annually, as well as at extraordinary assemblies, which are organised whenever an important change to the organisation is proposed. Members are kept informed through our website, social media and events. The Board of Directors defines the strategy of the association, presents it to the General Assembly and implements it.

Each member has voting rights and can attend the association’s General Assembly.

Within six months of the end of the financial year, the General Assembly convenes to approve the accounts of the association and to discuss its strategic vision, projects, and outlook for the following year.

All changes to the bylaws and ethical code of the association must be approved by the General Assembly.
